About Ron Dean

Although I wrote many industry documents during my electronics and computer careers, they were only read by insiders and coworkers. Nor were they especially creative. It wasn't until I "retired" that I could seek this third career and try to be more creative. I hope you find my efforts entertaining.

I always liked the quote:

"Once you learn to read, you will be forever free."

- Frederick Douglass

Expertise and Background

I  worked my way up and paid my own way. I held many career positions in Electronics R&D and manufacturing. Technician, Engineer, and Manager. I was educated at UNR, FSU, and many other schools and programs associated with my career. Most memorable was Simi-Conductor Physics at Stanford. Later, I transitioned into the computer gaming industry, working for both US and UK companies. It was an educational journey.

Free To Pursue Creativity.

Creative writing was my lifelong dream. I recently took inspiration from Andy Weir,  author of The Martian. And thus started my own Writer's Journey. I hope I can someday entertain as well.
